On April 25th the Anglican Church has a Day of Prayer for Vocations. Many of the Religious Communities are planning Monastery Days during the preceding week.

The Community of the Holy Name plans to have their Day on Saturday April 24th.

We would like to welcome up to six people to share our lives for the day at the Convent in Derby. If you are interested in enquiring about the Religious Life and live in the area or can get to us easily for the day we would be delighted to welcome you.

A programme may look like this:

• Joining us for our Eucharist and our Offices. Our first Office is at 7.45am
• Sharing our meals
• Helping in some practical work.
• Hearing the ‘silence’ and enjoying conversation. There will be space and also time for discussion and questions
• The day will end with Compline at 8.45pm.
