Habit
Historically, the habit was similar to the clothing of the poor, and even today it can express a simplicity of life-style.With changing times and customs, not all Communities wear the traditional habit. At present our decision has been to retain it. Our Rule reminds us that it helps to point beyond ourselves to God, and in fact many Sisters have been approached by strangers for prayer or help because the habit makes them recognisable.There may be times when we relax in ordinary clothes, and can relate to people in a different way
