The Convent is the main house and administrative centre of the Community in England. About 25 Sisters and novices live here. This is where we welcome visitors as well as new members of the Community. It is set on the edge of Derby, surrounded by the Oakwood housing estate. When we arrived here in 1990, the Diocese of Derby gave us a warm welcome. Since then we have maintained close links with the Cathedral and several parishes. From the Convent we are also involved in activities such as retreat-giving, spiritual direction, hospital visiting and assisting in primary schools. The garden surrounding the Convent building provides a place of beauty and quiet for the Community and our visitors.
