Worship and Prayer
God
himself is the source and goal of our life. He sustains us as we meet him
in the sacraments, in attentiveness to his Word, and through our deepening
awareness of his present in the world.
Wherever we are, the Eucharist is the centre of our worship, and the pattern of our daily life is built around the five Offices, each of which is a short service consisting of a hymn, psalms, Bible verses and prayer.
The office is the extension of our Eucharistic worship. It is the Community’s corporate act of praise and thanksgiving to the glory of God on behalf of the world.
Each Sister also has time for personal prayer, reading and intercession during the day.
