Mission

Our full name is “The Community of the Mission Sisters of the Holy Name of Jesus.”

At our profession we make a solemn commitment to do all in our power to draw people to Jesus. We use our gifts and skills individually and as a Community to share in the saving work of Jesus in a variety of ways.

For instance, Sisters volunteer in children’s work, schools, hospitals, in the parish as priests, helping with parish groups, quiet days, etc. Mission also centres around offering hospitality at the Convent Guest Cottage, to alongsiders, day guests and groups coming for quiet days, talks, courses, etc.
